Faculty Research and Scholarship Symposium
We are pleased to announce the annual School of Health Professions (SHP) Faculty Research and Scholarship Symposium, which will take place on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at the Douglass Student Center, Trayes Hall, in New Brunswick.
This year’s symposium holds special significance as we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the School of Health Professions. As we reflect on five decades of excellence in education, research, clinical practice, innovation, and service, we invite you to join us in recognizing the remarkable contributions of our faculty and the collective impact SHP has made on healthcare and the communities we serve.
The symposium is tentatively scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., followed immediately by a poster session from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
This event is an excellent opportunity to showcase your research, scholarship, innovation, and administrative projects; engage with colleagues across SHP; foster new collaborations; and celebrate the breadth of work taking place throughout our community during the 50th anniversary. We are also honored to welcome special guests from RBHS leadership who will join us in commemorating this important milestone.
We encourage all faculty members to submit an abstract for consideration as either an oral presentation (across one of four thematic presentation sessions) or a poster presentation. Session descriptions and presentation tracks are outlined in the abstract submission form below to help you identify the best fit for your work.
Abstract submissions are due by September 14th, 2026.
